My name is Harry Todd, and I was born in Louisiana
much too long ago. When I was a kid, I played mandolin, but when I learned
I could pick tunes on the guitar, then that was for me. The recordings on this
web site reflect my music over a life time of playing in bands.
.
At my grandmother's house, we had black-eyed peas
and cornbread for lunch every other day. On the other days, we had
cornbread and black-eyed peas. My songs are a little more varied than that,
but a lot of them could be called Old and Older. This Old Home was done
in pen and ink by my father years ago, and is where I lived as a child. To view more art work by my dad, you can visit Brenda's Bayou Babe page.
I used a MIDI guitar
to prepare these sequences, and the music represents music I have played
over a lifetime.
Question: What do you call a Gitpicker who is playing his fiddle?
Lainey is home from Iraq serving with the Army National Guard out of Louisiana. Your heart will be warmed to see these wonderful women and men who serve our country so proudly and unselfishly.
Dick Anderson is an excellent guitarist and has helped me in many ways to learn the art of MIDI sequencing. He also encouraged me to get my own web site in 1997. Please visit Dick's site and enjoy some of his great picking.
